The UK's largest database for microchipped pets

Welcome to Petlog – the UK’s largest database for microchipped pets. Microchipping is one of the most effective ways to reunite lost pets with their owners, however it is ONLY effective if pet owners remember to keep their contact details up to date. It is also compulsory for all dogs to be microchipped from April of this year.

How does microchipping work?

1. Microchip your pet

Your pet's microchip contains a unique number, which is matched on our database. You and your pet's details are now recorded with us.

2. Add to Petlog

You now need to create an account with Petlog to view and verify the details we hold about you and your pet.

3. Keep up-to-date

It is vital to keep your contact details up-to-date. To update your details and to access more features, upgrade to Petlog Premium for £16 for the lifetime of your pet.

Compulsory Microchipping of Dogs introduced on 6th April 2016
